TMC is proud to have kept our doors open at every stage of the COVID-19 pandemic. We achieved this by pivoting to alternative service delivery methods to ensure timely and uninterrupted support for TMC clients and communities.

Our COVID-19 responsive programs are:

  • Health and Wellbeing Check-in initiative, using multilingual workers, reached over 450 vulnerable people in 14 days from 26 March 2020. City of Gold Coast recognised our initiative with their Safer Suburbs Award.
  • Immediate Support Measured provided engagement and assistance to culturally diverse communities, funded by Department of Health.
  • CALD Covid Engagement Program, funded by Federation of Ethnic Communities Councils of Australia, reached isolated and vulnerable communities.
